About Kickwheel Sonoma
Kickwheel Sonoma is a community-centered ceramics studio located in a historic barn in Petaluma, California. Founded in  2020, the studio emerged from a vision to create a welcoming, accessible space where people could come together through clay. Since opening, it has grown into a vibrant hub for classes, workshops, and studio memberships rooted in both technical learning and creative exploration.
What began as a small, intimate teaching practice has steadily expanded alongside a growing community of “clay people”—artists, students, and makers who return not only for instruction, but for the sense of connection the studio fosters. Today, Kickwheel continues to evolve with ambitious plans to deepen its offerings, expand its space, and further support a thriving, ceramics community built around experimentation, craft, and shared making.

In Search of Workshop Homes!

As I slowly travel across the country,  I’m continuing to seek out welcoming spaces and curious communities who want to make art together.

If you know of a place, organization, or group that feels aligned, I would truly love to hear about it.

And don’t limit yourself geographically. As I map out my route for the year ahead, I want to prioritize places you believe would be a good fit. Places where creativity, care, and connection can live side by side.
Help Map My Route
Through my workshops, I invite you to dive into new ideas, reflect on your journey, and celebrate the beauty of learning through both joy and challenge. Whether you're joining a workshop to try something new, explore creative techniques, or simply stay connected, you’re in the right place.

Together, we are building a community where we show up as ourselves, embrace curiosity, and grow together.

Looking to learn something new? Excited to push yourself with a brand new medium? Trying to connect with other creative, interesting and enjoyable individuals?

If you’re curious about a material, a technique, or a creative spark, it’s always worth exploring.
