Be a Hummingbird...

Hummingbirds move quickly, trusting instinct. They hover, dart, and return without hesitation. They do not overthink where to land next.

For this prompt, you will build something in quick bursts,15-second visits. Let each action be a visit, not a stay. Resist overthinking, follow curiosity.
Hover. Dart. Return.
Surprise yourself.

Materials (use anything you have nearby):
scrap paper, old mail, scissors, glue, tape, markers, pen, colored pencil, paint, thread, stickers, receipts, tissue paper

Set a timer for 15 seconds. Each time it ends, do one small action:
  • tear a piece of paper and glue it down
  • add one line with a pen or marker
  • add a color somewhere unexpected
  • cover something partially, but not fully
  • attach something from your immediate surroundings
  • repeat a shape in a new place
  • connect two areas with a line
  • add something that feels bold or excessive
  • add something very small and quiet
  • add a mark near the edge
  • overlap two materials
  • add texture using dots, scratches, or pressure
  • place something off-center
  • create a small interruption somewhere calm
Keep going for 5 to 10 rounds.
Do not fix. Do not pause to evaluate.
Move quickly.
Visit the page, then move on.

When you finish, step back.
Notice what happened because you trusted your movement.
