Animal Encounters

Think about an animal you’ve noticed recently — it could be a bird outside your window, a pet, or an animal you saw on a walk or trip. Spend 15–30 minutes capturing its movement, sound, or personality.
You can:
  • Sketch its shape or silhouette
  • Experiment with textures to show feathers, fur, or skin
  • Add small details that tell a story about the animal’s environment
  • Or combine layers to capture how it moves or interacts with the space around it
The goal is not realism, but observation and playful interpretation — let the animal guide your hand and imagination.
